Don't believe I heard anyone doing this, not lately anyway.

Yup, see my homepage for stock numbers of all Kodak infrared emulsions and
sizes (URL in footer below).
Note that Ilford SFX200 is also available in bulk, I believe it is
even more economical than Kodak HIE.

I doubt anyone stocks it, but any willing pro shop should be able to
order it.
