>From discussions on the alt-photo list, I've read raves of the quality
of the new Epson printers.  Keep in mind that many of these people are
very particular in this respect (which is why I was suprised to read
it).  I haven't seen output from thse printers yet, but when mine gets
ready to die I may go a bit more high end.  BTW, the printer they were
mentioning (I forget the model) sells for under $500.
