Show me a 200'ish handholdable ED lens, and I'll buy it 
tomorrow....using it with a Nikon->EOS adaptor of course....8-))
Thusfar only non-AF's like Angenieux 180/2.3 (Nikon & Leica mount)
and Leica 180/3.4 and 180/2.0 (oefff, too heavy/expensive....but as high end as 
one can get!) fit this category.
Only a few white EOS primes lack IR-refocus, I believe only the 
300/2.8 and 600/4.0. The Leica 70-200/2.8 might be a nice alternative 
too, not sure about its true-APO status....all apart from price that is....8-))
Perhaps an idea to construct an overview of such optics....
Do other manufacturers, like Pentax, Olympus, Contax/Zeiss have true 
APO's in the 200/2.8 category?
