Sorry, I didn't ask about 4X5. I do most of my infrared in 120 Konica, so I
didn't inquire further.

Thanks for this interesting update!
Did you interrogate them about large format as well?....;-))

Well, although I disagree that this color is soo hard to use: oddly
enough this problem is an argument in favor of AF, as most AF
systems work more than fine even through opaque filters like #87C.
To get the IR-focus shift right after AF, the EOS USM/FT-M lenses are
perfect....;-))

As an BTFR filter (Between The Film Rails....:-)) I have been trying
to find a thin non-gelatine foil quality of this #89B, but sofar no
luck. Kodak doesn't even sell #89B in gelatine anymore AFAIK, but I
still have a source for this color in gelatine (and many other
colors as well). Still want something more robust than gelatine.

Are there any others interested in a thin #89B quality for this BTFR
application?
Main problem might be that I end up with a rigid quality, not as easy
to cut as flexible foil. And a BTFR filter requires a very exact size
to work properly, without light leaking.
