And along this vein of "why doesn't Kodak make 120/220 HIE", I just
remembered how nonexistent Kodachrome is for medium format
photographers. It certainly seems like there would be a viable market out
there to be tapped and profitted from, considering the loyal crowd of
users.
Yesterday, I called Kodak to check on the catalogue number for the
non-perforated version of Aerochrome II #2443 in 70mm. The number is
171 3676. I didn't ask for a price, espec. when the tech. person said it
was special order, 10 roll minimum and an implied delay in availability. The
perforated is in stock, at present. There seems to be quite a market for
this stuff as there was a little hesitation while availability was confirmed.
