We just shot our first 70mm rolls of the new Aerochrome II 2443 CIR film.
These were aerial shots of an area that had the beginnings of "Oak Wilt"
(which is a fungus that attacks and kills Oaks) where we needed to find the
"epicenter" of the infected area as well the extent of it's spread. I had
the lens focused at infinity and came up with some superbly sharp images
(we used a Rollei 6003/80mm F2.8 PQS set at F 5.6). I am curious as to
what would happen with the lens focused at the IR mark and will try that
the next time we fly..
