Gave an excellent explanation of the use of compensating developer/technique
which has encouraged me to experiment with Neofin Blau and probably D76.

I now understand why there is so much discussion about agitation techniques
on the IR list.  Bought another couple of rolls of HIE at the weekend so
will be spending a lot more time in the darkroom over the next few weeks.
