It shouldn't really be necessary to respool the film! You'd just need to
pull the existing leader out of the cartrige a bit, cut off the end to
make this more or less square, and tape your new leader in place. It
should then be easy to wind the new leader back into the cartridge until
you've got just enough sticking out to load the camera. This would all be
done in the dark of course.
Actually, I've often wondered why this film isn't already prepackaged with
an opaque leader?
