Update on reloading in daylight thought
Well, I tried it and apparently it is not so easy as I thought. The process
works fine and the amount of fogging I got was minimal BUT ... I wanted ZERO.
I have not given up though. The problem may be with my cassette which has seen
better days. You'd think I'd have oodles of cassettes around both reloadable
and presumably unreloadable ones but NO! one crummy cassette!
Anyway, I will persevere ... this HAS to work. If anyone else wants to provide
experimental data that would be fine. Right now I went to a 15 inch length of
Dmax'ed AgH (B&W silver emulsion) film "leader". It was suggested that the
antihalation layer on regular film might provide enough protection but when
measured on a densitometer the "grey" stock is significantly more transparent
than black silver.
