results from my pressure plate experiments

Hi everyone,
I have been fighting with this pressure plate issue on my Pentax
K-1000. The shadows from the dimples make my models look like they
have chicken pox.
I came up with an idea and gave it a whirl. I have been shooting in
the dark using a couple of sheets of e-6 material in my flash filter
slot and that works pretty well ( thanks Mr. Davidhazy ). So I thought
up putting a piece of it between the film and the pressure plate. I
taped it to the camera just out side the film rails on one side so
that it is a flap setup and then load my film and shoot away.
That seems to have reduced the dimpling by about 95-99 per cent. I
seem to get more dimpling from shiny backgrounds than duller ones, but
even still I only have a hand full of dark spots instead of chicken
pox.
I suspect that if I move the flash off the camera, I can reduce or
eliminate the remainder.
Tony
