EIR (I especially appreciate Rolland Elliott's recent post). I had planned
to use a SLR camera to take the EIR pictures but I will need to use a
smaller camera (Ricoh Shotmaster AF Super) which presents me with some new
challenges. Since I can't use a screw on filter, I was planning on using
the "behind the lens trick" with a wratten No. 12 gelatin filter. The
camera also has no manual settings so I will need to transplant some DX code
onto the EIR canister. With these restrictions in mind I hope some of you
could help me with the following questions:
>1. What is a good adhesive to use with the gelatin filter behind the lens?
I don't want it to be permanent and I'm afraid any water soluble adhesive
would dissolve the gelatin.

canister but is there such a thing as 250 DX code? Has anyone deciphered
the DX code so I could make my own ASA 250 code?

Is this what you want to do- ISO 200 is appropriate for EIR with TTL
metering ie when metering through the filter. Metering without the filter
but with the #12 filter over (or behind) the lens means the appropriate ISO
setting would be more like 80.
