It was a reply from a crosspost/forwarding to the IR-mailinglist. I 
also posted to the Panorama list, in an attempt to find all 
specialists in this field, and get to the bottom of this....;-))
This message goes to both other lists as well, but I skipped the EOS

I just bought a gnarly big Photo/Film encyclopedia (4kg), and it
states the same thing for 65mm vs 70mm. Only mentions IMAX though,
not Omnimax (need to find an even gnarlier big encyclopedia....what's
the kg limit in encyclopedia-land?....8-)).
