Well, in hindsight it could even make loading IR more conveniently,
as you don't have to cut down the entire roll at once, and only turn
out the light when changing cartridges. I would even be tempted to
put it back into the freezer for single
cuts....condensation/sublimation is most problematic when a fresh
supply of humid air is present....the closed loader might be fine.
Stored in a plastic bag of course.
Btw, just curious: how/what does it count?
I just recently bought a Watson 35mm loader, as I expect a few rolls
of outdated VPS soon. This one counts frames....doesn't work with
70mm of course.
I also noticed that the Alden 35mm loader is more expensive than the
Watson....can't find any flaws on the Watson, I even understand all
functions without a manual (bought it used). Would the Alden have
been a better buy for whatever reason?
(yes, this is still on-topic, HIE 35mm bulk will probably end up in
this thing one time as well....the more convenience/functionality in
the dark, the better....;-))
And while we're at it: has anyone ever found/ordered 35mm EI or EIR
in bulk?
