Jaap,
I have a 120 rollfilm back for my 4 x 5 Linhof. It has a Linhof "shield"on
it but it was sold to me "new" as a Rolex (Rollex?) 56 x 72 mm those many
years ago. The one I have is "screwed onto a plate that fits the back of
the Linhof when the ground glass holder is removed and held in place with
the "sliders" that hold the ground glass part to the rear. Apparently there
were more than "just" the Rollex back available at the time. Somewhere, in
one of my cardboard boxes I have a Linhof catalogue (circa 193) that gives
the part numbers.
It could be that Rollex fitted "custom" plates to attach to various models
of cameras.
