Here's what Sunpak's customer service emailed me today:
"It provides IR only, peak output 840nM. (if you fire at full manual power, a
dim red light is visible from a distance of a foot or two). Information is
available on our web site, or we will be happy to mail it to you if you
provide a mailing address. Most of our users are Police/Forensics, or
Nature/Wildlife photographers. We cannot release any names."
