I've developed about a zillion and a half rolls of HIE in my Patterson tank without
problems.  The "<<some>>" refers to the super cheap tanks one used to be able to
purchase (that would probably shatter if you knocked them to dislodge bubbles).  I
doubt anyone here uses them.
