I assume that by thin you mean thick (thin negatives would result from underexposure
and/or underdevelopment). I normally shoot HIE considerably faster - EI 250 metered
through a #25 filter. TMax also may not be the best developer, as it is a rather
"hot" (active) developer. I would suggest as a starting time for HIE shot at EI 250
D76 1+1 70F 10 min. Many of the images on my Web page are a result of this
combination.
