Howdy,
I would like to give my opinion of the new E-6 'compatible' CIR, in saying
that I will be sticking to the original EA-5 process film ands cross
procerssing it in my own formula. Although the new film is very convenient,
I have found, as have others, that the contrast is through the roof and
eliminates the 'subtelty' and many of the fine details I love so much about
a good medium contrast colour IR image. I am particularly referring to skin
tone, which I find very pleasing through my altered C-22 process, but on
the new E-6 compatible film, I don't get a skin tone because its blown out!
Not to worry...
Cheers,
Jesse.
