Selenium & Ilford Warm Tone

Ilford recommends using selenium toner 1:3 or 1:4 for a true warmtone
effect. I have tried this and they are correct. A more subtle reddish-brown
tone can be achieved using selenium 1:10.
AGFA Viradon brown toner works well at the recommended 1:50 dilution
rendering a more yellow-brown sepia tone. AGFA Multicontrast classic was
ultimately a disappointing paper for me. Untoned it's "warm tone" is barely
perceptible. Forte Polygrade is quite nice, but slow and hard to find in
stores.
