The Archaeological Institute of American's  magazine (Archaeology) printed
an article on recording inscriptions in Mayan tombs with infrared video in
its May/June 1997 issue.   I put a very condensed thing on the list.
Unfortunately, I've changed computers, ISP's and all and no longer have
this on file.  The AIA has a web site, www.archaeology.org, which carries
recent back issues including this one.
