The quote that says "Once you use the fixer, store it in a seperate jug
labeled "IR Fix." This way, you won't contaminate your other films with
infrared radiation" really says it all. As education goes, this is really
bad! She seems to be thinking of contamination by radiation from radioactive
sources, but that is not what she is writing about. Maybe someone could
write to Amphoto bringing the errors of fact in this book to their
attention. They have a good reputation as photo book publishers and may be
interested to know that they have been publishing fairy tales in the guise
of good quality information.
