Well, Shutterbug magazine comes to mind.  About a year and a half ago they published
an article on color infrared photography where the author went on about the heat
emanating from a person's body.  As a matter of fact, they bolded it and repeated it
in a separate area as a tickler to read the article.  I wrote Bob Shell and pointed
out the perpetuation of this falacy.  He told me that they caught the mistake too
late (?) and the publisher refused to allow a retraction in the subsequent issue. 
It's a good thing I don't subscribe to that publication.
