Re: Ferricyanide

Tony,
I am sorry I do not have hard copy of that information. However, it came
from the (now retired) head of scientific imaging at Kodak when I asked a
"what about" question re the "safety" of Potassium fericyanide in the
darkroom. The answer I was given....As a dry product, or in solution (as
Farmer's reducer) and used according to instructions, it is relatively
"safe". Since I, personally, am unwilling to attempt to find the "ingested"
LD50 with myself as "guinea-pig" I will take the information offered as
"truth"... unless there are any volunteers, or chemistry buffs out there.

I am not sure how much of what strength components would be sufficient,
but, is/was it not either potassium or sodium cyanide that is/was used in
conjunction of a strong acid in the "gas chambers" where they may still be
the preferred mode of execution in the US?
