To hopefully put this matter to rest, infrared film is not recording heat
when shooting objects that emit heat. Heat cannot be recorded as a focused
image and infrared films are only sensitive to near infrared radiation.Far
infrared radiation is produced from actual heat. The film is recording the
infrared radiation produced by the heat.
