Got your email through the IR Mailing List.  I'd love to check out your

I also grew up in Lakewood (New Jersey), but now live about 25 miles north
of there in Lincroft.

I run a web site also, for PPANJ (Prof. Photographers Assn. of NJ), and MARS
(Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Prof. Photography).  MARS gave me a full
scholarship last year, and I took a full week of Photoshop.

There's a cool little piece of software you should check out called NetCard.
It's a 2-sided internet postcard, with a message side and an image side.
You can even include text and animation (.avi and .mov are supported).
NetCard can be sent as an email attachment or given to people on disk.  To
download a free trial version (lets you make 5 cards) visit
www.pictureworks.com.  

I think this is a great idea for photographers!  I use it to let clients
know their proofs are ready by scanning a few and making up a NetCard.  I
also made up a self-promo piece featuring 3 of my hand colored infrareds.
If you'd like more info on this software, I wrote a little text file with my
observations that I can email you.  I did this because other photographers
in my assn. were asking questions and this was the easiest answer.

I'd send you a sample if you like, but these files are somewhat large (350K)
so it would take a minute or two to download.  What OS are you on and what's
your modem speed?  Let me know if you'd like to see one.
