I've developed a zillion rolls of HIE and half a zillion rolls of TP with my Paterson
reels without problems.  The only difficulty I've read comes when the reel is not
sufficiently washed after useage.  This can cause the film to catch while loading. 
Otherwise, I've not encountered the above situation.
