I've never had any problems with them, though I haven't used a new one
in a awhile.

To be extra cautious/paranoid, I always still try to find *very* subdued
light (in a car under a coat, eg).

Best advice...try one roll before assuming it's ok.  It'll be very
obvious if there's a problem with your bag.
