Re: FS: Kindermann 70mm bulk/reel loader

Lately I've been thinking about how to use a deep red filter on my
Hasselblad to shoot Ilford SFX200. Two problems arose, first the cost of
a lens mounted HOYA R72 or equivalent is at least $100.00 U.S.
(I got my Hasselbald real cheap in case you're wondering.) the second is
the fact that a Hasselblad even without a filter is not the simplest
camera to focus. Today I found a wratten #92 deep red gelatin filter. If
I cut it down, it looks like it will drop into the well just behind the
501c's shutter curtains. If I secure it with some very thin Mylar tape,
I'm hoping that the film back will mount without trouble. It should,
since I also have a 645 format insert which fits in there.
Any suggestions? I know many have sucessfully secured thin filters
behind the shutter in 35mm cameras, but I was wondering if anyone has
tried it with medium format SLRs? I'll let everyone on the list know the
results of this experiment.
