Hi M.VOLKERTS

Thank you for responding to that little signature file on end
of my e-mail! It gives me hope!

More about the IR film and the change bag: The roll that I lost
was actually from loading the film into a developing tank with the
old changing bag that had light leaks.

A changing bag gives you the ability to retrieve rolls of film that
have problems or to open the camera with the film inside. It is
a very handy item to have on any photographic expedition!

You've got to watch out for tungsten (overhead indoor electric) lights,
too! I lost an entire roll of HIE film due to the fact that a few
millimeters of film leader protruded from a closed camera back
(Canon Aqua Snappy U/W camera) that I was loading for the first time.
The exposed tip of the leader was only in the indoor room light for
a few seconds but infrared light from conventional electric lights is
quite strong and was internally refected through the entire roll of film
- -- there is no antihalation layer in HIE film!

Hank

PS Ofcourse I'm interested in any position that would match my skills!
Please pass along the URL for web site which has my resume.

BTW, I'm looking for a job as a biological science research
technician. If you know of anyone who might need a technician
with my skills (see resume on my home page) please let me know.
