HI,

I have used the new Kodak colour infared film with strobes and achieved
spectaculer studies of the veins and capillaries (!) of the model. The film
is rated at ISO 200 using a #12 filter and strobes set to give about F8 at
this rating....bracket 1 stop either way and you will have veins galore !
Now, if you are anything like my students you may not be able to afford the
colour ...it is expensive (here in Australia, at least) ...but it is an
option you ought to know about ! The colour ifrared is handled the same as
the HIE-mono version..total darkness, etc...but can be E6 processed...this
is very congenial.

PS

I also agree with the strategy advocated by Ross and your teacher(s)..
