Astrid,

I have not used the CIR with tungsten sources...at this point....since
tungsten is a richer source of IR than strobes my expectation would be the
need to modify exposure via testing which at $17 (your money) a roll is an
expensive strategy..perhaps others on this site have used CIR with tungsten
and have something better to offer than myself on this point.

A number 12 filter is a yellow filter and in lay person's talk would be
considerd meduium strength yellow.  I have a colleague who has been getting
really great results with CIR rated at ISO 200 in Australian outdoors-with
strong, directional light- using a standard orange filter and TTL
metering....so why not try that too...?
