Excuse me for butting in...   I went with the B+W 092 filter, and according
to B+W (really Schneider Optics) it's equivalent to a Wratten 89b.  It's
not completely opaque, but it's a deep enough red that you won't really be
able to focus and meter through it.  I'm *really* happy with the results I
got by starting with the recommendations on the Schneider web page about
starting exposure info and bracketing.  The lab where I had my film
processed has a couple of guys who shoot HIE semi-professionally... both
were so impressed with the results that they took all the info down about
my filter and are going to try it out for themselves.
