I would recommend the #29 or #88 (I think) for SFX. I personally use
Hoya R72 (equiv to #88 ?).
I believe the B&W equivalent is 091 & 092.With a R72 & SFX, the
effective EI (without filter) is very low, and the effect is not surreal
enough for me.
Personally, I still prefer HIE with #87.

the visible red will give results similar to just ilford HP5 with a #25.
Also don't
try #87 as you will get unexposed film. The filter supplied by Ilford
for use
with this film is a very dark red that falls between the first two
filters mentioned.
I believe that B&W also make a similar very dark red filter.
