I do something similar with Konica IR: sometimes I have to shoot with a
handheld camera (Mamyia645), so I need to squeeze the ASA setting to the
max, with this hot contrast film. I make a double exposure: first, a no
filtered, out of focus shoot trough a milk-white glass. This exposure is
calculated to obtain zone II, using an E.I. of ISO 100. Then, I put on a
filter, and shoot again using E.I. 100 plus the normal filter factor. I'm
very happy with the negatives! Actually, you can't tell prints from films
processed this way, when you compare to prints from standard processed
Konica (E.I. 50, plus filter factor). Anyone among you knows how to get
ISO100 from Konica in an easier way?

This probably makes sense with colour slides, but I prefer to pre expose
my BW with no filter, because i want to adjust shadows contrast even in
non-infrared reflecting objects.
