Can't think of why you couldn't meter the camera with an 87c in front of
the lens. If you do, try an ISO of 3200. I use an 87c filter in front of
my hand held light meter. If the filter is behind the lens try ISO 50 or
100 to start. Kodak says try 10 but I found this far too slow. Development
in D-76 would be by the book, 68f/18.5c for 13 min. Re cost, WJ just
posted his cost for the polyester 87c filter today. In Alexandria,
Virginia a Wratten 87c gelatin filer is about $40 for 2x2 inches, no
bargain. Go with polyester.
