newbie to infrared

Hi,  I am new to infrared and need some information.  I shoot both 35mm
and medium format.  Nikon 8008S and Mamiya RB67 ProS.  A few of my
questions:
1.  Are either of these cameras suitable for infrared?
2. Which films to learn with.
3. How to focus
4. Filters needed
5. How to load in complete darkness.  Isn't the film in a lite tight
container like normal film?
There are many others, but lets start there.  If you want to add any
additional information for me, please do.
