Do yourself (and all others who might learn from you) a favor and
remove all that tape....:-))
Precaution is good, but this is more like fueling an urban myth.
I know that the note about tape on the film window even made it into
the IR FAQ, but the contributor, David Rosen, confessed that he only
did so out of precaution, without any proof of actual fogging, not on
his cameras, nor on any other (is anyone editing the FAQ on a regular
basis btw, or has the original document a status quo, updated only
with additional URL's?
Anyway, have yet to hear of any such brand/model that fogs through
window or seals, so unless someone steps forward with solid proof, I
like to catapult the tape-trick into the Land of Urban Myths....;-))
What you, and many before you (and probably many after you) are most
likely confused with is the film *counter* window on 120/220 medium format
cameras. That one is indeed not IR-proof, and has to be taped.

Can't help you with your actual problem, I can only recommend you try
another camera, or let a pro lab develop your film, to eliminate both
factors.
Btw, don't rule out an IR-leaking changing bag either!
Try to rely on total darkness while loading film, not IR-proof materials.
