RE: Holga & Pinhole

I converted my Holga into a pinhole camera with a 'B' shutter setting only.

I put the metal pinhole on in place of the lens by pushing out the
plastic lens with my finger and unscrewing the "focusing" ring all
the way off. (Just push right on past its normal stop, breaking
off the internal plastic stop.) The "focusing ring" was then screwed
back down tightly on top of the metal sheet with pinhole, holding
it in place firmly.

The shutter conversion to 'B' only was done by removing a few screws
to get into the shutter mechanism. The mod was bending the flash
synch bushing in the shutter into a hook that catches the shutter in
its open position instead of letting it swing by as is normal. The
shutter now remains open as long as I hold down the shutter button.

I was personally planning on using the "Sun" setting as a way of mounting
an internal filter, such as a warming filter when shooting cool slide
film, or an IR filter for infrared. Then it would be easy to choose
filter or no filter with the "Sun/Shade" setting.
