Craig,
Biggest thing to remember about i-r and pictures of people is about
their eyes. If you shoot them head-on you will likely get big black dots
where the colored part of their eyes are. If that's the effect you want,
there's nothing wrong with it. Otherwise, I'd try and shoot from a
slight angle.
Why don't you shoot a test roll first before putting yourself on the
line? No need to embarass yourself in public when you can embarass
yourself in private. :)
