Re: XTOL very good results.

I have had a similar experience with Xtol and TMX in 120 format. Since I
began using Xtol several months ago, I have developed several rolls and 4x5
sheet of TMX without any problems. Last month, using the same 1:2 dilution
and 100mL of stock solution, with the same time and temp., I experienced
extremely thin negatives on a roll of 120 TMX. Someone has suggested that
Kodak had produced a bad batch of TMX and that the problem may have been
corrected since then. I don't know. I have had no problems with Delta 100
with Xtol 1:2, using Kodak's recommended time and frankly prefer the quality
of those negatives to that of TMX. Other than that, I have not experienced
any problems with other film developed in Xtol, including HP5+, TXP and the
Delta films from Ilford.
