Well if they are doing fireworks during the day then you woulld have to care
about ASA, but since they do fireworks at night, you can pretty much forget
about asa settings. What i would do is Leave the shutter open for 30-60 or
more secconds at a time, so you get teh wholw fire work not just the flash. I
am not sure how HIE or EIR will react so what you could to is, bracket like
this. Do a 60 seccond or whatever exposure, stopped all the way down, then do
it at maybe 8 or 11, than do it all the way open and you should get good
results.
