But has your camera *proven* to leak light?
Please don't promote this kind of unnecessary precautions....IR
photography is plagued enough with false rumours and
myths....;-))
I have *yet* to hear the first piece of hard evidence that a 35mm
camera leaks light that way. There are several camera-specific IR
problems like pressure plates and IR-LED film counters, but film
windows don't belong in this line, and neither do plastic
bodies/backs.
What you and most other people are confused with is probably the fact
that 120-format cameras have a film *counter* window on the
back....and that one even leaks light with 220 film (no paper
backing).
Ruling out possible causes is one thing, but sticking with them
without evidence is unnecessarily confusing for other people.
Your Nikon really doesn't leak light that way....;-))
