nikon and IR
Hi all,
Ref. to message: I own a 8008(S) and I happen to know the other
mentioned Nikon cameras. All cameras are suited for IR, no problem.
There could be leaks of course, but that not 'a nikon-problem'. Your
cameras may be damaged or the light seals may be a bit old, dried up and
leaking. The idea of fixing a piece of tape over the film-window is not
supported by me. This tape may not be opaque for IR! Have your cameras
properly checked for leaks, reconsider your (un)loading and development
procedures. If one of your cameras leaks then the whole roll of film
should be fogged. Therefore I think the problem lies with the above
mentioned procedures! Succes!
Sincere greetings
