Reticulation ; Rodinal/Konica IR

  Hi all,

	on a friend's recommendation I tried souping a 35mm roll
of the Konica in Rodinal (1:75 for 9min) the negs look
good, a bit less starkly contrasty as w/ D-76, though I
think the very contrasty ones were my own fault in over-
exposing a brilliant white structure in the low evening
	light ;^).

anyway, -- the film came out with a mosaic pattern, a
very consistent one much like a stone walkway. relatively
uniform shapes and rather "arty", so not a total loss :)
I followed the Rodinal agitation instructions - constant
for first minute & 5s/min for the duration. Being my first
Rodinal experience, I did a "moderate inversion", trying
for neither too vigorous nor too gentle.

As all the developing solutions were evenly temperatred, I
suspect either an agitation cause or perhaps the slightly
warmer wash bath for the reticulation. Any ideas &/or tips
for using Rodinal by others here would be highly appreciated,
as I have heard lots of good things about it as a developer.

						Thanks ......
