Chances are that the Rodinal didn't have anything to do with it. I have used
Rodinal for yeasrs without seeing this problem.
However, I purchased some rolls a number of years ago that were apparently
reticulated when I purchased them. This was Konica IR in the 120 size. I sent
a strip to Konica for them to evaluate and was told that my stop bath was too
strong. I've tried developing the film without stop and see the same patterm.
I've separated this film from my other (good) film and use it in circumstances
when the pattern is proper. Chances are that you're just stuck. This is why I
purchase all film fresh, unless it's almost free and I can afford to expect
surprises.
