The Konica's so finegrained, it's almost a shame to reticulate it.
Its normal grain structure (Microphen 1:3 or Microdol-X 1:3) is
unbelievably fine!
Rodinal usually doesn't do this to films which are developed in cool
water, even though it swells the hell out of the gelatin. If you
used an acid stop bath, you might want to consider a simple water
rinse instead. That will prevent the intense contraction in the gelatin
that occurs when the pH suddenly nosedives.
Personally, I use much milder developers, as above, with this film.
It's so nice when it comes out of dilute Microphen! It's very hard to
see which side is which, the emulsion's so smooth and shiny!
