My experience with reticulation was due, as mentioned by the original
poster, to my final wash being too strong.  I had an amazingly repeated
pattern on the two rolls developed in rodinal (Delta 100 if memory serves),
which I gave a final rinse with water that was a bit hotter than was wise
(poured from the top down the hanging negatives).  That was the only thing
different from my normal development process and the only time I've
experienced reticulation.  

The pattern was damn cool though.
