Fortunate Mistake of Sorts - Fogged/Solarized IR!

Hi all,

Just sharing a recent almost disaster. Sunday night I did some images in
the studio - including 5 rolls of Konica IR 120 - it was 18 months out of
date, so I thought I'd best use it up. I procesed the film last night and
to my horror the base was fogged beyond belief. My heart sank, as the
images which I could see (through the fog) were decent enough, and would
have been good, if it wasn't for the fog. Then I noticed the images
appeared almost solarized (apologies to Man Ray). So today I printed them -
and they were indeed solarized! Check it out at the below URL (the images

Just thought it was something to relate...I quite like the effect, though I
am not sure if I would "want" it to happen again.
