Although SFX200 isn't a true IR film (IR starts at 780nm, and both
this Ilford and its Teutonic equivalent Agfa APX200S only go up to
740nm, peaking at 720nm), it *can* record the Wood effect, as that
one starts already at 695nm....but you need to pinpoint this small
part of the spectrum by using very dark red filters, like #70 and
#89B....otherwise visible light will prevail.
PS, for those interested:
I just received a new custom-order batch of #12 and #89B resin
filters in Cokin-P size, US$35 each. Send me private mail for
details.
Still pondering/experimenting with both these colors for Horizon 202,
Noblex 135 and Noblex 150 filters....cutting remains a big problem
for these small amounts, but I might have found a solution.
