I just looked at mine and persist to say that "solarization" is
strictly a matter of great overexposure (the exces of halogen
liberated causes the rehalogenation of silver, thus forbiding
a maximum density, as you will have with a correct exposure).
The effet Sabbatier is du to a rexeposition after a partial
development (many techniques are used). It doesn't matter whether
you uses film or paper... the effect is just a clear border, and
you can invert that by printing a film. the effect is due
1- to the silver generated that act like a mask for light
2- to the developper that is less degraded in white area (you
should not agitate if you want good results)
